Westfalenhallen verzeichnen 2015 Vermarktungserfolge

Die Westfalenhallen haben eine Bilanz ihrer Besucher- und Veranstaltungszahlen im vergangenen Jahr gezogen. Die Besucherzahl des Vorjahres konnte mit 1,6 Millionen nahezu gehalten werden. Überdurchschnittlich stark präsentierte sich 2015 der Messebereich mit insgesamt 36 Terminen.

Roger Kirby along with the in-house design and installations team at Liverpool, UK based Adlib have worked again with a new L-Acoustics installation in The Quays Theatre at The Lowry in Salford Quays. The 440 capacity Quays Theatre is a flexible performance space used for staging drama, comedy and a variety of music events, and was upgrading its sound system for the first time since The Lowry complex opened in April 2000. The upgrade project was co-ordinated for the theatre by Dave Woodward, the Head of Technical Services.
AV Center chooses Robe DL4S Profiles

The actual concerts were staged in July 2015 during Fischer’s “Farbenspiel” tour and were enjoyed by around 110,000 people. Anyone who missed the show can catch the experience at the Miniatur Wunderland attraction in Hamburg where a 1:87 scale model of the complete venue, stage, functioning lighting, sound and video production plus capacity for a full audience has been constructed.

The Projection Studio (TPS) has produced two festive installations in 2015 - at Windsor Castle and in the Welsh seaside town of Barry in Glamorgan. A humorous 10 minute large format video show - with seasonal artwork and an array of animated images like dancing penguins and Santa Claus - was beamed on to the front of the municipal library building in King Square, Barry, getting everyone vibed up for Christmas. The projection system was based on the previous year’s show with some modifications.
