Powersoft Ottocanali installed at Belgian theme park

Shortly after the opening of Plopsaqua - a water park located at Belgian theme park Plopsaland - the Prinsessia Castle also opened for the first time. The project manager was Steven Kemland of FACE, the Belgian Powersoft distributors, supported by Stijn Vermeiren.

He specified Powersoft’s new Ottocanali 4K4 DSP+D 8-channel power amplifiers with signal processing and two redundant Dante digital streams. This will power Martin Audio CDD series in the restaurant/presentation area, the external ride which forms part of the Prinsessia zone and external PAVA/message ring.

2RU high and in many cases networked to the existing Peavey MediaMatrix Nion distributed audio system, the Ottocanali gives FACE the opportunity to take advantage of a Dante card swap and firmware upgrade to bridge the pre-existing CobraNet and Dante networks.

A Powersoft K3 series drives the Martin Audio subs and three M50Q HDSP+ETH (4-channel power amp with DSP and Ethernet) to power their XD series speakers. FACE has EQ’d and levelled the speakers individually via the amps, which are placed in a rack up in the roof.
