Alpine Rigging invests in Kinesys

Las Vegas based Alpine Rigging, headed by Brent Armstrong, has made a new investment in Kinesys automation equipment, with the purchase of eight variable speed chain hoists fitted with Kinesys Elevation 1+ drives, Kinesys Vector Software and eight Kinesys LibraCell load measuring shackles, all delivered via the manufacturer’s U.S. office in Atlanta.

The first show for the new system was at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas at an off-site event for Samsung. The requirement was to fly ‘close-down’ walls in and out throughout the presentation, with four white curved panels gliding in and out to reveal products. It was staged at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health (LRCBH), and as a result, Alpine Rigging is now a preferred automation supplier at the venue’s event space. The LibraCells came into their own on this show - Armstrong has also purchased a LibraPro power/data hub and says, “I can’t imagine moving anything without load monitoring”.
