Studiomaster introduces new range of install products

Studiomaster has launched a range of install products, including a portable compact line array system, a DSP controlled phased array column speaker system, a miniature 5 inch Dante/POE speaker box, full range 70/100 V in-ceiling speakers, 100 V line programmable DSP rack mixer amps and a series of flatbed and rackmount tablet controlled digital mixers.

Platform 10 is a fully self contained, portable and compact powerful active line array system; comprising two 18 inch subs, each paired with two 10 inch line array elements. With 2400 W of 4 channel Class D integrated amplification in each sub and array configuration (providing a total of 4800 W system power), and 2 input/4 output onboard Digital Signal Processing with selectable preset system configurations for rapid setup, Platform 10 is a solution for rental, small and medium venue installation and small scale touring sound applications.

The sub features an 18 inch Neodymium LF driver and the line array elements, a 10 inch mid driver with 3 inch voice coil and 1.5 inch throat HF compression driver. Deployable in sub and pole mounted top compact, FOH stack, or flown line array configurations with adjustable array angles, the two line array elements pack neatly into the bass port of the sub, equipped with wheels for transportation.

The IS410T compact 10 x 4“ phased-array column speaker is designed for public address applications. With onboard electronic and digital signal processing technologies, it can simulate the sound directivity from different shapes of sound columns (inclined, concave, convex and more complicates shapes), without detrimental effect on system performance; e.g. rated power, range of effective frequency response and max sound pressure level.

The IS410T is compatible with line signal input (300 mV), line signal output (200 mV) and broadcasting power signal input with fixed voltage (70 V or 100 V). Front mounted LED screen and infrared remote control aides simple operation.

The IS5N is a miniature POE (power over Ethernet) installation loudspeaker with a 5 inch full range coaxial driver. A single Cat5e/Cat6 network cable and RJ45 input provides a Dante audio signal and the required amplification power.

Onboard DSP provides control of volume, sound pressure limits, EQ and crossover settings. The IS5N has multiple fixing points, and the coaxial speaker is designed to achieve high sound quality and the maximum SPL from the available power from POE.

The IS6/IS 8 series of 100 V line full range ceiling speakers includes coaxial and fire resistant variants. All conform to IEC268-5 power handling capacity, with high power handling to ensure extreme reliability. The ISMA series of rack mountable 100 V line mixer amps comprises a range of models offering up to 4 inputs and 6 outputs with a diversity of features and processing capabilities.

Top of the range is the ISMA150D 150 W, 100 V line, 2 in/6 out mixer amp with DSP. With mic and line level inputs, and up to six selectable output zones or single 150 V output, the 2U compact unit features 4.3” TFT LCD touch screen control and an onboard programmable media player. Scheduled operation features a weekly programmable schedule set with more than 100 daily programmable schedule points.

The Studiomaster DigiLive 16 is an ultra-compact digital mixer, available in flatbed and passive and 600 W self-powered rackmount variants. A 16-bus, 8-output digital audio mixer, both flatbed and 19 inch rackmount variants integrate the advantages of hardware and touch-screen control surfaces with remote tablet operation.

Operation is via the seven inch high-def touch screen and hardware controls, including nine motorised 100 mm faders, simultaneously with remote iPad control. The mixer's input section features 12 mic input channels on balanced XLR and 24 bit/192 kHz AD/DA conversion. Other features include eight ‘smart’ assignable XLR analogue XLR outputs, AES/EBU and SPDIF digital outs, and up to eight internal effects busses. Also featured is onboard USB interfacing and Wi-Fi connectivity.
