NOA highlights in-house digitization at IBC

NOA GmbH will be on hand at IBC 2019 to showcase recent innovations in archiving technology. Bruno Burtre, Director of Business Development, and Sales Director Abderrahmane Bessaih will welcome attendees and share the most recent case studies of companies that have embraced the in-house digitization process.

During this year’s event, the company is employing a ‘hands on’ approach. With an in-house digitization factory on its stand, attendees will have the opportunity to see how NOA products work in terms of the digitization process.

On stand 8.D91, NOA will showcase the MediArc Archive Asset Management (AAM) system, which operates in accordance to OAIS recommendations. Among other things, this results in the separation of user and production management domains and the division of content on its original media format from its digital representation within the archival storage.

Also in the spotlight will be the JobDB 4.1 workflow system, which features physical carrier handling with tools, such as BarcodeStation and UniversalDialoguer. Thus, the system can manage up to 1000+ carriers in a single workflow each day.

Also, the NOA QualityChecker for JobDB and MediArc will be on show. This system features functions that enable an effective approach to industrial digitization projects by combining validation, correction and editing of recorded material into one, single step within the overall workflow.

Interaction between QualityChecker and MediaButler, NOA’s transcoding application, has been optimized to transfer a set of tasks from the analog to the digital domain, thereby streamlining key outgest processes in video digitization projects.
