ACT Entertainment acquires TVOne

ACT Entertainment continues to expand its reach in the AV technology sector with the acquisition of TVOne, a video processing, signal distribution and media playback solutions company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Among its brands is the Green Hippo line of media servers and digital display products, which TVOne acquired in 2018.

The acquisition marks the first foray into video equipment for ACT Entertainment, a manufacturer and distributor of products to the entertainment industry. Since 2017, the company has completed multiple acquisitions bringing RapcoHorizon, AC Power Distribution and other brands under the ACT Entertainment banner.

TVOne is a U.S.-based company with R&D and manufacturing in the UK. The company’s existing management and structure will remain in place after the acquisition.
