Janos Boszormenyi

Smith, a global distributor of electronic components and semiconductors, has announced the appointment of Janos Boszormenyi to the role of Vice President, EMEA. In this role, he aims to help develop business opportunities and provide support to Smith’s five offices in the region.

Boszormenyi originally joined Smith in May 2021 as Director of Business Development, EMEA. He has nearly twenty years of sales-management experience in electronics manufacturing and distribution.

“The European market is growing rapidly in response to the burgeoning demand for chips across a wide variety of applications, including artificial intelligence, industrial, and automotive”, comments Marc Barnhill, Chief Executive Officer at Smith. “Janos will play an important role networking with key customers and broadening our market reach in Europe.”
