Europalco increases reach with strategic investments in three local companies

Portugal-based Europalco, the largest provider of solutions for events and shows in Southern Europe, has announced strategic acquisitions of three Portuguese companies: Rise, NEW Audiovisuais, and AV Tech.

Rise, founded in 2012 by professionals in the audiovisual sector, has offices in the Algarve and Lisbon, and specialises in tailor-made solutions in projection, sound, lighting, video, IT and networks, stages and scenography. Its creative approach includes 3D venue mapping and technical visits, with operations expanding across Europe, including Spain and Italy.

NEW Audiovisuals, established in 2017, specialises in the rental of audiovisual systems and technical support for events.

AV Tech, founded in 2016, is an audiovisual engineering company that designs and implements integrated solutions for various venues, including auditoriums, hotels and commercial spaces. With a team that has fifteen years’ experience in the sector, AV Tech works on projects of all scales, from small assemblies to large-scale installations.
