Kgear completes GH compact loudspeaker series with the launch of the GH8

Kgear, Part of the K-array ecosystem of brands, has announced the launch of the latest addition to its GH series of loudspeakers, the GH8. Building upon the legacy of its predecessor, the GH4, the GH8 includes a dual-cone, 8-inch full-range woofer. With 129 dB SPL per single box, the GH8 combines Pure Array Technology (PAT) and Slim Array Technology (SAT).

One of the most important features of the GH8 is its integration of cardioid technology, which allows for precise sound directionality, minimising unwanted noise. Whether used as a point-source box or configured into an array of up to eight units, the GH8 is suited for fixed installations, such as those in hospitality environments, and live events.

“The GH8 completes the GH family, bridging the gap between the GH4 and the GH12”, says Lorenzo De Poi, Brand Manager at Kgear. With its IP64 outdoor rating, the GH8 is designed for optimal performance in any setting. Furthermore, with a range of accessories available, the GH8 caters to the diverse and complex needs of systems integrators, from long-term installations to quick set-up and tear-down projects such as those for live events.

The GH8 seamlessly integrates with K-array Kommander amplifiers, offering preset configurations, increasing the choice of high-performance point-source solutions for immersive and distributed applications, whilst still allowing the possibility to create pure line arrays.
