Tieline Bridge-IT II Codec wins Best of Show Award at NAB

The Tieline Bridge-IT II codec has won a Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2024 NAB Show in Las Vegas. This annual award acknowledges and recognizes the best products and solutions in the technology and media industries on show at the convention.

Tieline’s Bridge-IT II codec delivers broadcast solutions for home studios and simple remote broadcasts, studio-to-transmitter links (STLs), studio-to-studio links (SSLs), and multi-unicasting and multicasting applications.

“Tieline is proud to win the Radio World Best of Show Award in 2024 for the new Bridge-IT II codec”, says Will McLean, CEO Tieline Group of Companies. “The feedback from customers and dealers at the NAB Show was extremely positive and we are sure the codec will be very popular from both a feature set and price point perspective.” The judging team remarked that “the quality throughout the field was extremely impressive and all of our judges left the show full of praise for the entrants they visited”.

Bridge-IT II includes a front panel screen and keypad for menu navigation, XLR analog and digital AES inputs, and a wide range of encoding options. New features to support modern networking requirements include native support for AES67, ST2110-30, Livewire, Ravenna and AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05; two full-duplex mono connections, or full duplex stereo; Ethernet and AoIP ports; failover to another connection, HTTP stream, or audio file playback; support for SIP and wireless cellular modems. The Bridge-IT II codec is expected to ship around mid-year.
