Claypaky releases new Rhapsodya LED fixture

Claypaky Rhapsodya emerges as a low-noise multi-spectral RGBAL LED fixture designed for various applications such as touring, live events, theatre, and TV production, and managed by a specially crafted, internally developed firmware algorithm.

It is an evolution of Sinfonya, particularly regarding the focus on quality of optics and color management, and the whisper-quiet operation even at full output. Rhapsodya has a new product design, with a double power output (24,000 lm) compared to Sinfonya.

With a broad beam angle potential of 6 to 60 degrees, Rhapsodya is capable of adapting to venues of all sizes. Its color wheel builds upon the foundation of Sinfonya, offering additional red, green, and blue options. The new product boasts a sleek, ergonomic design that reduces internal noise reflections.

Rhapsodya’s technology introduces new/updated features for studio and/or on-stage purposes, including AccuFrame, Lineaguard, Absolute Position, Tonedown, AccuTune, Colormatch, and Colorstring.

AccuFrame: Traditional fixtures utilized four focal planes, often leading to a loss of sharpness. Rhapsodya features a new approach with AccuFrame, utilizing two focal planes for quicker, more accurate re-focusing while preserving the sharpness of lighting effects.

Lineaguard: This new frost system features pairs of blades for superior uniformity and reduced unwanted reflections. This feature guarantees a smoother and softer entrance of the filters.

Absolute Position: Rhapsodya’s Absolute Position feature, for advanced pan and tilt control, remembers fixture positions in real time, allowing for precision re-positioning with no distracting movement during hard resets.

Tonedown: This feature ensures noise levels as low as 27 dB. In intimate moments, the fixture can also be used without the fan.

AccuTune: Rhapsodya incorporates AccuTune, Claypaky’s in-house firmware algorithm, to ensure precise control over the multicolor LED engine and to deliver vibrant, high CRI and high TLCI light optimized for both stage and TV.

Colormatch: With the latest calibration feature, integrated with Claypaky’s CloudIO software, users can match the light output and color temperature of all fixtures in use to guarantee consistent, perfectly tuned lighting, regardless of the age or brand of the fixtures.

Colorstring: The independent control of the four LED stripes within the engine empowers users to create dynamic lighting displays and to achieve the desired graphics and color effects.
