Brompton Technology celebrates “Sunday Times 100 Tech” listing with visit from Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Growth

Brompton Technology has celebrated its inclusion in the inaugural edition of “The Sunday Times 100 Tech” with a visit from Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Growth, Howard Dawber, Hounslow Council Leader, Cllr Shantanu Rajawat, and Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Assets, Regeneration and Development, Cllr Tom Bruce.

The visit highlighted the Opportunity Hounslow Business Case for Growth, which aims to unlock £33 billion in Gross Value Added (GVA) and create over 18,000 jobs by focusing on transformative projects like Future Feltham and the Golden Mile. It also recognised Brompton’s role in driving innovation, skills development, and community engagement.

Published on January 19, 2025, “The Sunday Times 100 Tech” showcases companies making significant contributions to the UK’s technology sector. This prestigious ranking applauds 100 of Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies, recognising businesses that excel in innovation, growth, and impact. It ranks Britain’s private technology companies on the sustained growth in their annual revenues, measured over a three-year period.

“It is fantastic to meet Hounslow’s businesses as we work together to build a fairer and more prosperous London for everyone”, says Deputy Mayor, Business and Growth, Howard Dawber. “Organisations at the forefront of innovation are driving growth and creating high skilled jobs in Hounslow and across the city. It’s great that Brompton Technology has been recognised for its impact.”

Richard Mead, CEO of Brompton Technology, shares his excitement: “Being named in ‘The Sunday Times 100 Tech’ is a testament to the passion and dedication of our entire tea”, he states. “We were also honoured to host the GLA Deputy Mayor at our UK headquarters last week and showcase the work that makes Brompton an integral part of London’s tech landscape.”

“Hounslow’s commitment to innovation and sustainable growth resonates deeply with Brompton’s own journey, from our UK beginnings to becoming a global leader in LED video processing”, continues Mead. “We have always valued the importance of investing in talent, technology, and partnerships, and we’re proud to play a role in shaping Hounslow as a hub for advanced technology and creativity on the world stage.”
