Coda Audio updates System Optimiser and Linus Control

Coda Audio has updated its System Optimiser and the Linus Control platform. A Coda Audio steering group, coordinated by Coda’s Global Sales Support Manager Robin Dibble, combines experienced members of its development team with a range of professional end-users from the wider audio universe to consult on ways to best serve users in real-world situations.

“Our steering group is invaluable in ensuring that we are able to respond with agility to the requirements and suggestions of our customers”, comments Dibble. “The latest updates not only improve existing performance but allow for future developments.”

In the latest developments, System Optimiser’s 3D modelling now benefits from the inclusion of variable viewing angles for the model, allowing users to choose their preferred field of view. Also added are three new SPL scaling colour bands to provide better visual representation of real world venue coverage.

Coda’s Linus Control software has had a structure update for new and future Windows platforms. New visual displays for active limiters have been incorporated, to more realistically represent system status. A global power on/off has also been added.

The Linus Control update comes at the same time as a firmware update for the new installation power amplifier, the Linus 6.4. This update has improved both the operation and displays for the limiters along with some GUI tweaks and bug fixes.
