Fuse Audio Labs releases new tool for peak reduction and mastering dynamics
Analog-sounding plugins developer Fuse Audio Labs presents Ocelot Clipper, a specialized tool for peak reduction and mastering dynamics, empowering users to create more headroom and deliver energetic mixes with a streamlined approach to managing loudness without introducing unwanted artifacts.
Its intuitive interface sees to it that Ocelot Clipper keeps focus on where it matters. The plugin’s advanced dynamics control unlocks tone-shaping capabilities, offering separate Pos. Knee and Neg. Knee controls for both the positive and negative swings of a signal. It sculpts the tonal balance of the harmonic content with flexibility, and is capable of imbuing individual sources with a subtle warmth or gritty edge, as well as taming peaks.
Ocelot Clipper’s anti-aliasing options include user-selectable oversampling up to 32x and ADDA (Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog) technology, as well as a True Peak mode, to deliver the desired results while keeping CPU (Central Processing Unit) load manageable. A latency of under 1.5 ms means it is equally effective for both live applications and studio use. Due to its workflow and extended analysis display, Ocelot Clipper can handle even tricky loudness tweaks. It works with any modern limiter plugin.
“Clipper is the second release in our new Ocelot Studio Series, delivering low CPU, zero or low latency studio essentials built with DSP tech”, says Fuse Audio Labs CEO Reimund Dratwa. “The plugin intuitively manages loudness in a very musical way, and also represents the perfect partner for our previously released Limiter.”
Ocelot Clipper is available - at a discounted introductory promo price until March 21, 2025, rising thereafter to its regular price - directly from its dedicated webpage: https://fuseaudiolabs.com/ocelotclipper.html. 14-day trial versions of all Fuse Audio Labs plugins without any restrictions are also available to download for free from https://fuseaudiolabs.com/plugins.html.
